Project co-financed by the European Union.

Project carried out by the Municipal Institute for Employment, part of the Council for Social Well-being, Employment and Family.

The cost of the project, known as PROPICIA (Equal Opportunities and Access to Employment), is 1,459,925 € of which the European Social Fund is subsidising 1,021,947.5 €, through Global Subsidy aimed at financing projects which contribute to local development.

The aims of the project are:

  • To promote the professional development of women at risk, this forms part of the services provided for groups with special needs, such as dependent persons, senior citizens, handicapped people and people not integrated into society or at risk of not being.

To help people get work by providing them with professional qualifications and work experience.  This is aimed at people who are not socially integrated or who are at risk of not being, with the aim of promoting the development of new areas of employment connected to the environment, new technologies and leisure and cultural services.  Other measures to enhance this service have also been taken, for example, combining new areas of employment with measures to include more women in areas where they are under-represented, curricular adaptation or a la carte training and equal opportunities.
