Welcome to Valladolid Town Council International Website.

In the current context of globalization, it is essential that a city have an international standing. And internationalization is, according to the Strategic Document "Valladolid towards 2016", one of the main objectives of our municipality.

The Valladolid International website aims to provide a key way to discover our city, giving detailed information about the international focus of the different areas of the Town Council, including the general and thematic networks in which it is involved, along with activities carried out in conjunction with foreign twinned and associated cities.

We give great importance to the economic development of Valladolid, both in the internationalization of its companies and in attracting foreign investment: corporative, in the area of tourism or in promoting the learning of Spanish as a foreign language in Valladolid. Fruit of this interest is the fact that the Town Council of Valladolid and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed an Agreement to promote an attractive image of the city and to facilitate foreign investment by means of a consulting and information service.

As well as being the most complete and up-to-date source of information about the exterior agenda of our city, this website also provides the user with a catalogue of the numerous initiatives of all types by which this international dimension benefits cities: links to international organizations and a variety of news items.
